by popular demand. i shall update my blog o.O

work is well.. i suppose, getting better. Thing is I don't really like working with my partner. Things would have been better if I'm working with my store manager all the time. In this particular store, there's only 3 of us, so there isn't much of a choice eh?

I learnt a few interesting stuffs bout Raffles students from the past 2 weeks @ work. I shall briefly list them out. Enjoy.

1) Raffles JC Student(s)* don't know how to cook cup noodles.
It's like this. 3 girls came into the store to get one cup noodle for one of the 3. Yea, nothing special. So they purchased the cup noodle first, and then proceeded to the hot water section. Next, they tore off THE ENTIRE COVER, added hot water, and IMMEDIATELY CAME TO ME AND SAID, 'the water is not hot enough it doesn't cook leh.. ' (excuse me, it's instant noodles but it's NOT THAT INSTANT) and followed by the most raffles-like question by another girl in the trio which goes.. 'can we put it in the microwave?' ok great actually i myself am not really sure if the cup noodle plastic can stand the microwave, so i told them, if you're sure it works, by all means go do it. and then, the last girl of the trio went 'can one! I did it before!'

ok so they went to the microwave and put the cup noodle into the microwave. moments later, they took it out, and i knew something must have happened and i kept quiet. they just immediately went out of the store with the cup noodle, without even getting chopsticks from me HAHA.

AND THEN, i proceeded to the microwave, opened it, and saw that the soup was spilled all over the microwave. Yea, and who clears the mess? Me lor.

Moral of the story - Never put your cup noodles into the microwave.

2) Raffles JC Student(s)* can't read instructions.
Title is self explanatory, so i guess i won't elaborate much on it. Put it simply, i've come across too many RJC students coming to me, asking me how to cook this and that and what button to press on the microwave etc.

READ THE DAMN INSTRUCTIONS IDIOTS.

3) Raffles Institution student(s)** don't know that a shelf is not for throwing rubbish.
Let's just say, RI kids really love 7-11. The store is EXTREMELY PACKED during their recess / breaks. So packed that you can't even see who paid and who haven't. It's that bad, the store is already small enough.

So anyway, RI kids love cup noodles and slurpee so much they eat them everyday I don't know when their hair will fall off and ants will invade their underwear. That's not my problem. My problem with them is, they throw ALL THEIR RUBBISH (cup noodle seasoning packets etc etc) on the shelf where they prepare their food and spill slurpee all over the floor during their attempt to make their money worth when dispensing slurpee.

all these, when the rubbish bin is just beside them.

4) Raffles JC guy(s)* are sissys.
Ok there was this guy who came to get a SUPER big gulp. He dispensed sprite into his gigantic cup, and all the way til the brim. Right before the water level hit the brim, an ant popped out of the dispenser. He immediately turned to me, gave his cb face, and said.
'WHY IS THERE AN ANT IN UR BIG GULP?'

before i even had the chance to say anything, he poured the whole cup away and tried again. It's just an ant dammit. JUST USE UR FINGER AND PICK IT OUT LA.

so what can i say about RAFFLES students?
1) they can only study.
2) they are spoilt nerds who can't cook cup noodles.
3) they are dependent nerds who can't rely on themselves such as reading simple instructions.
4) they show no concern to other people by littering all over the place.

, and uncle jing told me a lot of you still havent confirm with him if u are going. Please be responsible and give him a call or sms because the guys have worked really hard to plan out the stuff. ( serious )

uncle jing's number is 91524358. pls be polite when u call him, greet him in mandarin and use proverbs where applicable.

we need people to bring important stuff like water dispenser, kettle, etc. uncle jing's list is as long as his beard:

+ games ( never specify. so prob kiddy board games or mature sex games. use ur discretion )
+ xbox ( william bringing the console, zhikai and i bringing controllers )
+ ps2
+ laptop ( if got any nice games or can surf internet )
+ frisbee
+ mahjong ( feng shuo bringing??? )
+ cards ( if nobody brings, we can commit suicide )

+ badminton rackets / table tennis bats ( though dunno where can play )

i have one request: can someone bring an extension cable. u know, the round thing which u pull wire out from? coz the tv is overhanging, so the power cable for the xbox is too short. ( ok this doesnt make sense after i typed it out but that's what the 4b ppl told me, coz they had their chalet in the same place. ) so just bring ok? i think they mean the power socket is too far away from the tv, which is immovable, so need extension cable. ok ok. bring ah!

AND PLS BRING MONEY TO PAY FOR CHALET AND BBQ FOOD, PLAY AND GAMBLE. NO MONEY NO FUN!

I have volunteered 2 play a crucial role in the planning and execution of the class chalet stay. Before we decide on anything, we must finalise the number of ppl who are coming. Class Gathering

Will there be a class gathering? hopefully..

anyways, let it be park! lol, maybe barbeque and biking.
i know pasir ris or east coast is bloody far away.

but city is not very accomadating for class gatherings cause of the size.

movie - will most probably split up into 2 to 3 groups cause not everyone will want to watch the same movie

Bowling - well if we go on weekdays and rather early in the morning, like 10 to 11. it will be quite empty... but it can only last like an hour or 2

Pool, Billiard, 9 ball - Also must go on weekday and early, plus it is expensive. but it is fun though

shopping - erm...?

lunch/dinner - hard to find restaurants that accomadates so many people

go someone's house - erm, must find a person that's willing and the place is fun and enough to accomadate 15 - 35 people.

between the parks

pasir ris - biking, playground. barbeque pits(should have right), shalet
East coast - biking, barbeque pits, shalet, lots of expensive restaurant(like who wants lol)
Sentosa - EXPENSIVE. $3 to get in. $7-8 for an hour to rent bikes, compared to like 3 - 5 in other places.
West Coast - erm who goes there?
Palau Ubin - Ride bike whole day. very cheap, of course, butt will hurt and can only ride bike. plus need to dodge hornets(just kidding lol)

either way, can we do it on a weekday? this goes out to the CEC. since on weekdays, less crowded, more fun.

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank every single member in
the class.. Although things may get difficult for me at times, (like some of
u guys don't cooperate, etc..), i really treasure my experience as part of
the CEC.. you are welcomed

At the start of the year, the birthday celebrations were introduced to
foster class spirit... From what i observed, that gives every classmate a
sense of belonging and goes a long way in bonding the class. oh, good for you la.. your credit lor.

We also displayed commendable team spirit in the inter-class soccer,
fighting for one another and losing out narrowly at the end.. If u would
compare it with the prevous year, i can confidently say that we have matured
and grown stronger as a class. blehx, if we mature we will still do those wads wrong with ri boys crap meh? i agree we got stronger class spirit, pon class together nowadays..

All the experiences we have gone through together, for ex, Class CIP, having
fun during lessons, etc, will never fade away.. When u guys receive ur cds
on monday, take some time alone and view it.. U will realise how everything
has gone past so quickly and that how much u would like to relive the past. hmm, maybe maybe...

I would like to take this opportunity to specially highlight a few guys who
have worked closely with me for the well-being of the class..

Firstly, janson and wen jun who have lent me much needed support throughout
the year, and without them, the CEC will never be complete.. Next, kok
thong, benjamin and chin yang, who have spent much time and effort to help
me in the class decoration, the class shirt, expressions page and the CD.
They have really contributed much and it's time to salute these unsung
heroes.. Thank you, dudes.. tmd limbei sit beside you for post-ct and let you copy my answers for corrections leh.. nvr thank me?

Last but not least, I would like to thank the class for giving me this
opportunity to serve and lead u guys.. Thank you for believing in me and
entrusting this responsibility on my shoulders.. I have seriously enjoyed
every single minute of being the assistant monitor.. (jumps up) hey guys! there is no way she can (and some crap which i cant rmb)..

My last wish and request will be that we stay united as a class.. No matter
what happens in the future, we cannot deny the fact that we were once a
class.. Pls stay in contact.. This egroup will stay on forever.. The class
blog will stay on forever.. The 4I spirit will never die out.. wah seh.. machiam some online mmorpg game ending sequence.. and siang huat will live on forever.

just in case tmr u are wondering where is the class cd when we have
paid for it already, this is to inform u all that the class cd will
only be ready on mon, 6th october, because i would need to compile
tmr's photos as well. i appreciate ur patience. also, those of u who
have not had their profile photos taken, please take the initiative to
look for me. or else if i forget, then ur page will be empty.

also, many of u will know that some of us are actively involved in
filming. yes we are compiling all our videos which we took this year
into a special dvd. unlike the class cd, u can choose whether to buy
it or not, though the team would appreciate if u could support our
efforts by purchasing our video.

i'll try to keep the price of the dvd below 5 dollars - this price
includes the costs of the case, special dvd-format, printing of label,
and of course most importantly the manpower.

the videos in the dvd include:

the list is subject to changes, depending on whether we have time to

mentor mr fong told me when we were doing our dvd report, ten years
down the road, u would want to sit back and watch these specical
moments again. i know these videos may seem lame to some of u, but it
is these moments that make our two years spent together as a class so
funny and meaningful.

im taking pre-orders now, and will try my best to get it done by this
month, 'cause we're still filming mi:4i. hope u all will show us ur
support. thanks!

p.s those guys who have been an integral part of the theatre of dreams
team, namely si en, tee yong, zhi kai, sam and william, thank you so
much for being so supportive during our productions. u all no need to
pay for the dvd. the rest who were involved in mi:4i, which had taken

Poetry isn’t exactly my forte;
I prefer drawing – NOW that’s my job.
But having been in this class, now – for 2 years,
Has given me inspiration,To write, I fear.

As I sit at the back of the class I pen,
To write about as many of my friends as I can.
Relax; I won’t be so ‘hiong’,
Until go write something 35 stanzas long.

So now, where to start? I begin with Sam;
That hyperactive fencer with a good heart to spare.
Next to him, there’s a hunk called Henry;
He takes arm-wrestling as a kind of rivalry.

Then it’s Si En, that Bedok mutt,
The number of his jokes has already gone off-charts.
Up close is Junliang the soccer pro;
Waseh, his tricks aren’t exactly just for show.

Next we come to our dear CEC,
Of which surely you will agree:
Monitor Wen Jun who’s fully feminine;
There’s Jason, the charismatic secretary,
Last up’s Janson, he who keeps the money.

Now where can you find a pair of fighting fish,
Like Woonseng and William with power unleashed?
And Shanhui and Chin Yang, the calmer two.
"Birds of a feather flock together”, how true.

How could you forget Ming Xuan the acid tongue,
One drop of his spit could destroy a whole farm;
Uncle Jing, old and full of fun,
Leaves all questions of his maturity undone.

Oh that’s Tee Yong the friendly scout,
He looks like a gangster but he rarely shouts;
Johnny, he’s a funny dude,
Full of talents of which we find so cool.

Who can boast they have a horse of their own?
We can, there’s Junda, but he’s not for loan;
Benjamin, who can be serious and fun,
A teenage Steven Spielberg if we ever saw one.

Hang on! Isn’t that a dumpling?
Nah it’s just Guozhong who’s maths-ing.
For if you open him you’ll find,
Only differentiation and integration signs.

Aye, that’s only half the class.
Right up’s Anand, a runner, he’s fast;
Then Marcus who somehow has two fathers.
Plus Gerrard and Prem who are just lovebirds together.

Feng Shuo, whom you should know by ‘Nose’,
Has Daryl with whom he’ll never be foes;
And don’t forget your King Kok, Josh, me;
Crazy mad artist who wrote this poem for free! x)

For those who aren’t exactly featured here,
Don’t lose heart, for there’s nothing to fear;
As a class we’ll always hold you dear,

I don’t really want to do this for
A class that was actually so hardcore;
But the problem is they asked me for an encore,
I’ve no choice, so I’m here to write some more.

As much as I want to forget,

I re-begin with Prahlad the prata man,

Incredible Hulk – that’s him lah;
Friedemann, at the back can see damn far,
Sec 3 that time whole day tio suan by Yau Pooi Har.

Then there’s Pathy, goal-saving hero,
Brought us to second in soccer from zero;
Last but not least, Kiat Wee, the Pokemon maestro,
A trainer who never likes his Fearow.

But that’s not all that made our class,
There’s still the FTs and they’re a must.

FT1 - Maths, it’s hard and long,
But it’s fun when Kwa Beng Hong comes along.
Aguss, SS Teacher, FT2,
Relax, he didn’t cause the haze, that’s true.

So well, that’s everyone in this class,
Where everyone’s first and never last;
If we made this into a play I trust,
Our class will make an incredible cast.

That’s all ’05 – ’06 holds,So well as they say, that’s all folks!
But as author, I have something to say,
That as we progress further along the way,
These memories will remain in our hearts to stay.

hi all. I never post in this blog for how long.. since today last day before end of exams and nearly going to school year end liao.. make a meaningful post one last time as a 4I student.

walking to school this morning suddenly got inspiration to write poem for 4i. im not a good poet at all but hope you all like it. tried to be as unbiased as i could when writing. lol when lunching with si en this aternoon when he saw me writing this that time say i extra. x) lol.. panther never changes its spots ma. lol but hope everyone else takes this as a piece of feelings from the heart instead of me trying to be extra. (:

here goes:

i shall be nice and remind u all to be careful during tmr's bio test.

even if it's easy, dun do too quickly coz u'll tend to skim thru the qn and miss out very impt points.

im speaking from experience. zhong yan ni er li yu xing. i mean, today's phy test i can write 40/10 = 2. dat's y transformer qn wrong.

so remember to do the test carefully. everyone should do well for bio.

damn sianz, so i post on aa blog again.

some updates for theatre of dreams - for those who do not know.

- first, now we move to raja block, means those scenes taken at senior block for mi:4i have to be retaken. yea, i know it's quite mafan, but no choice la.

- after we conclude mi:4i ( hopefully in max 2 days ) we'll move on to our nxt filming project ( finally ). tentatively it's a parody of ocean's 11 - ocean's THREE! lmao. actually the 3 main characters have already been decided, but due to unexpected issues in class, the casting has to be reconsidered. -.-

ocean's 3 will see the original 3 ringleaders starting their thieving business in school. the prize - answers to the final year exams.

- there are talks of a collaborated effort between 4i and 4b, oso another cockster class. in this video, 2 or 3 members of a counter-terrorist unit try to rescue vip hostages from the school which has been taken over by terrorists. as u can imagine, we would need a hell lot of supporting actors, esp for the terrorists.

rainbow six : raffles brings the international counter-terrorist team back into action. this time, they have to battle against a paramilitary group who have taken control of an elite school in singapore and held some important people hostage. rainbow is tasked with a delicate mission to bring out everyone alive and leave no enemy standing.

- i oso want to do one or two music videos. the first song i can think of is right now by fort minor, cause there're a lot of scenes in the lyrics. any other song suggestions, do come forth.

these are currently on the drawing board. i hate the schedule coz after the common tests, we only have 2 wks left to do what we all love. dang. but anyway hopefully this post will keep u looking forward to the end of the f*ing cts.

hi guys. yesterday a group of us were discussing about our grad dinner and we came out with a brilliant idea.

pon the damn thing

okay. let me answer all those question marks which have already popped out of ur heads.

firstly, i think many will agree that 60 bucks is way too much for a dinner at a 3-star hotel. i mean, that money can be spent at a better place. 5-star hotels or other posh restaurants if u all want, they will cost almost the same as grad dinner.

if ur saying that grad dinner is special, coz it's 'GRADUATION', think again. last time it used to be very special coz those guys were on the o level track and many would soon be on parting ways. for us, we'll see everyone again in rjc. so nothing's really special, unless u really have that cheng-jie-"i love ri like hell"-attitude, then ok, i can't persuade u further.

im just here to give u wad should be good advice on how to spend ur money wisely. what we have in mind is this. on the night of grad dinner, we will all meet up and go for dinner somewhere else. pariss, lawry's, hotels..we can decide on the eating place later. currently we have a few ppl from the same table in favour of this idea. i want to know how many would like to join us as well. remember, we have to submit our table registration plus payment within this month. if u wish to join us, then excuse urself from the registration list and put ur name down here instead.

it'll be great if the whole class supports this idea. then we will truly leave a legacy behind.
